Who we are
RELON Tanzania (Refugee-Led Organizations Network Tanzania) is a national network that brings together refugee-led and host community organizations working to localize refugee response across Tanzania. We believe that those closest to the challenges are also closest to the solutions. That’s why we empower local actors to lead efforts in humanitarian response, advocacy, and community development.
We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.Our network supports collaboration, capacity building, and meaningful participation in decision-making spaces. We work to ensure that refugee and host community voices are heard, valued, and included in shaping policies and programs that affect their lives. Through partnerships, training, and grassroots action, RELON Tanzania is committed to creating sustainable, inclusive solutions led by the communities themselves.We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.
